Darn the luck, ye scurvy dogs!

We watched the last Pirates of the Caribbean movie tonight, and it's a pretty good flick.  Review is pending.

One drawback - everything I read now has the voice of Captain Barbossa in my head.

It was amusing until I read something by the beautiful and not a scruffy pirate at all Nancy R.  Just doesn't sound right.

Not Nancy R.

I'm off to figure out why the rum is gone, and if it's not, to make it so.

Wanna give a recommended minimum age?

I'd say 10 or 12, depending on the maturity of the child. My 13 year old watched it with no "eyes behind the hands" moments.

LOL! Do I have a pirate picture I could show you! Pirate ships had fish nets, right?

Why yes, yes they do!

Well mine were in the shape of stockings. And some knee high leather boots. And my old artillery regimental. And I think there was a whip and pistol there somewhere, and a cocked hat. Oh, and shorts. This was YEARS ago, mind you.

Yeah, it's a pretty good flick. The mermaid scene is about the only part that I thought might bump up the recommended age to around 12 - 13.

That was the scene I was thinking of 45er. There's some skin, some suggestive talk, and a bit of scary.
