An Apology

I need to extend an apology to anyone who was within earshot of Case de Oso this morning around 7:30.  Apparently my sing-along rendition of Prince's "Kiss", which the local radio station obligingly played just as I was getting into the shower, scared the cats and unnerved the 11 year old.

Hey, can I help it if I can hit the high notes while I'm in the shower and have a voice that carries?

Too loud? Or do you have problems carrying a tune? My kids have gotten used to my singing at the top of my lungs over the years, but if they misbehave in the car, I can still make 'em cringe by singing rock music, OPERA-STYLE, at full volume. It's never failed me. ;)

We sing along in the car all the time. When we have everyone in the car, we do a great rendition of "Bohemian Rhapsody". And nothing gets the family happy like "The Cover of the Rolling Stone".

I think it was that I was singing pretty tunelessly about 2 octaves higher than I normally sing that freaked everyone out.

If you can't sign in the shower, where can you?
Have a fun weekend, DB
