A feline is unable to digest pine needles.

That is all.

... especially from an artificial tree...

But a Jack Russell Terrorist can inhale glass Christmas ornaments apparently with no ill effects and still waiting to see the glittering turds....

Someone has to say it . . .

"That statement resinates with me."

LOL- Peter got it :-) Try 90lbs of Rott eating HALF the damn Christmas tree, ornaments and all!

Never had a dog eat a Christmas tree, but I did have a 7 month old Lab-Newfy mix eat the legs off of a hardwood kitchen table one night.

DB- that sounds like it grew up to be a huge, goofy dog!

Did it also knock over the Christmas tree by trying to use the stand as a water dish?

Cats cannot digest tinsel, either. But they can try!

Yes, Shadow did indeed grow up to be a big goofy dog. He's a little gray in the beard now, but he's still goofy.

Yes cats can't eat pine needle, and they have no problem regurgitating this mess into your favorite slippers as a way to remind you not to let them do it again.
