Thought for the day

No father hath love like he who braves a McDonalds Playland on a Friday night for the sake of his son.

Hell hath no wrath like a toddler who has been promised chicken nuggets when he sees the car passing a McDonalds.

Or the love of a claustrophic mother who braves the Habitrail of said PlayPlace for a stuck daughter.

I just wait in ambush at the bottom for him to come out of a slide or a ladder. He's not big enough to get stuck physically, and he still hasn't discovered gravity, so fear isn't a factor either.

Sweet Daughter climbed up and got treed like a kitten. I got about 6 feet up, when another kid took pity on me, and fetched SD down.

Oh, I remember doing that for Girlie Bear when she was little. She didn't like going down slides, and would sometimes get lost in the upper reaches of the Habitrail looking for a ladder. Luckily, the designers seem to have taken into account a 6'4" 200+ pound father in their tolerances.
