I live about 55 miles north of the border, and there is an extreme amount of activity. That Pinal County Sheriff who was shot in the stomach by an illeged illegal immigrant wielding an AK-47 is over 100 miles north of where I am, so is it safe to assume that the bulk of this fair state is 'not safe?'<br /><br />When asked about their preference of location, the BP agents at the local checkpoint will tell you that they'd rather be enforcing the border - they have a hunger to execute their duties where they feel it will have the biggest impact.
