Push here!" buttons so staff could trot off to find ... nothing. And in pulling out Every. Single. Display. Door. Completely blocked three full aisles.

Apparently they've done it before, and been ejected more than once. No one caught up to them last night, but even if we did, so what? "Leave." No other repercussions.ZerCoolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08347518441827166007noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1657394535887928020.post-53469532969332213572011-05-09T07:41:27.988-04:002011-05-09T07:41:27.988-04:00I hear ya, DB. And how it seems to surprise a lot of adults when my 3 year old says please and thank you.cybrushttp://blog.wymanhq.orgnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1657394535887928020.post-72113058540267533642011-05-08T22:53:16.607-04:002011-05-08T22:53:16.607-04:00I'll be happy to - and someday I can regale yo...I'll be happy to - and someday I can regale you with the joys of parenting an older teen - lol.Scott McCrayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16877687745976180488noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1657394535887928020.post-63187567710863553252011-05-08T22:50:09.040-04:002011-05-08T22:50:09.040-04:00Scott, please thank your son for his service for m...Scott, please thank your son for his service for me. I am proud to say that my 12 year old son will put down his trombone at 7:15 in the morning to open the door for a female classmate or teacher. They always, without fail, stop and thank him with obvious surprise. I'm glad that he does it, but I lament that they are surprised.Jenniferhttp://injennifershead.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1657394535887928020.post-45005385640469708972011-05-08T18:14:30.667-04:002011-05-08T18:14:30.667-04:00Won't argue with a word of that. As someone who's spent a great deal of time working retail and customer service, the number of kids with no manners is scary.Ruthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11924993310937754220noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1657394535887928020.post-3261087759139759812011-05-08T18:11:41.482-04:002011-05-08T18:11:41.482-04:00Amen, DB. Did I behave when Dad took me back into the church service? You betcha. Did I subsequently use the same techniques on my son? Yep.
Said son is now in the reserves after two deployments to Iraq - he has told me time and again how happy he is that I was a strict but loving parent.
Oh - his manners? Outstanding - makes me proud.Scott McCrayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16877687745976180488noreply@blogger.com
